Tim Baltes

Our founder and lead instructor Tim comes to us with a ton of real-world experience and 1000’s of hours of training. Tim has spent his entire career devoting himself selflessly to his community and country. Tim spent 8 years in the Army National Guard and Army Reserves from 2000 to 2008. Tim was deployed to Afghanistan in 2004 for a year to conduct convoy force protection missions for a Psychological Warfare unit in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Tim is currently an active Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Florida since 2005 where his assignments throughout his career thus far have consisted of Road Patrol Deputy, Tactical Unit Deputy, Narcotics Detective, DEA Task Force Officer, Road Patrol Sergeant, and active SWAT Team member of 15 years. Throughout his career in both military and law enforcement, Tim has attended some of the nation’s most recognized training facilities and courses to better his skills and knowledge. Tim has had the privilege of training with some of the best shooters, and self-defense practitioners known in the industry. Tim continuously seeks out the most reliable and up to date firearms, tactics and self-defense training methods to better serve those he trains.
